Car News!

This morning I woke up to a phone call about a friends car being vandalized and then as I turn my TV on to get dressed I see that a car in my neighborhood had been thrown into the hills and apparently another car was found even closer to my parents place.

It’s kind of scary to think that in my neighborhood behind gates and with watch guards people can still get through and steal or property and damage what is ours. Seriously taking property is not nice, if you really want something come to our door and ask, we’re nice people we’ll help if we can. Wed rather give you some cash as oppose to spend another sixty grand replacing a car.

Thankfully my siblings and I have all gone to USC so we are a little more conscious of keeping our things safe. We definitely know that in out garage I could leave all the doors open and not even Shia Labeouf will go near the car but sometimes things happen. So we have learned to close the gate, put the cars in the garage and close the garage and take the keys with us. Thankfully today’s technology allows for my keys to always be in my purse and when I walk far enough it will lock itself and the windows will go up incase I forget.

I just hope that people will stop burglarizing and stealing what isn’t theirs. Obviously I know times are tough. They are tough for all Americans. Just how I have to get a tutoring job even though I am still applying to medical school, you should get a job (not a career) and start slowly. Then you wouldn’t have to steal. It sucks having to put things into safes just because people are not considerate of what isn’t theirs.

To the true land of tiramisu

Old Apartment in Verona, Italy

This morning i woke up. Like every other morning, i took Shia Lebouf (my lab) on a run and came home to freshly brewed coffee. Around 11:30 my father comes home and i tell him about this medical school i have been researching in Italy and i really wanted to see what the deal was about studying there in English, but i didnt think i could it while in California.

We discussed a couple different options, calling friends in Italy, bothering family but after convincing him that the geographical and language barriers where too much for me to put my future on the line for. He agreed it be best if i went to Italy if i promised to make a reservation and drive them to their dinner on Valentines day. Basically I am opting out my Valentines day for a two week trip to Europe.

This morning i was having coffee with Tiramisu creamer and in less than a month i will be eating tiramisu at the gates of Romeo and Juliets home again. I will also be researching and busy trying to get into medical school in Italy but it is definitely a trip worth taking.

I am one step closer to getting into med school, i do not have time to wait around til february for interviews so now im just setting my self to have more options, and when i do. I will be better informed to make a reasonable decision. Life is what i make it, and if i get a chance to study medicine where the romans and gladiators fought, and juliet and romeo fell in love. Well then i might take that chance.

Markie Mark

Last weekend i was in San Diego watching one of my best friends playing one of the most important games of his life and he did it while most of the American population was watching. Two days ago he called me to see if i was joining his family and best friend to go watch him against the colts and i said No.

I thought deeply about why i said No, because at the specific moment that Markie Mark called, I was working on personal statements for Medical School and i knew that this weekend was going to be crucial for writing. The sun is finally out, ive had enough exercise and I had a good few days with him and my family and friends. I could finally get serious, sit down and write. But its Saturday afternoon and I’ve spent the last twenty four hours off and on writing.

Writing about me is fun. But I think when i write about me, i also write about Markie Mark and his passion for football. Now i know being a professsional athlete is a one in a million chance, but when you go to a school like USC to play a sport your chances get much better to become a professional athlete. Turn on ESPN now and youll see one of our players. Being a doctor is like being a football player, it takes practice, dedication, a good head on your shoulder, a good support system and knowing how to market yourself.

I am about done writing my personal statement, i just sent it to a professor who will edit it and as soon as i do Ill take the next flight out to join one of my best friends on one of the biggest days of his life.

Fight On!!!! Go Trojans! Go Jets!!!!

Hello world!

Hello world!

I currently graduated from USC Biochemistry in 2008, went to New York to expensively play for a few months and then went back to SC and graduated “again” with a second degree in Italian.

For the past 6 months I have been living in LA back with my parents unemployed with very promising prospects of applying to Medical School. In the last six months, I have taken the MCAT, learned how to cook reasonably, do yoga mindlessly, speak German barely and live totally happy!!

I’m definitely happy with life and my vacation-esque lifestyle but it is about time I start to grow up and ill blog about it and let you all know how it goes!!!

I’m going to try to be efficient and regularly blog. I do have a lot to talk about; I write countless emails about my daily encounters to many of my friends local and long-distance. Having lived in Los Angeles, California, Manhattan, New York and Verona Italy there is a lot I can share, just read my yelp reviews. Lol!!!!!
